Millonarios and Atlético Nacional battled it out at the El Camp ground, but it was the Purslane who took the first lead in the 2023 BetPlay Cup Grand Final. In the end the two ended in a 1-1 draw. Atanasio Girardot is open for a return game.
Nacional started to take the lead just before the half-hour mark of the first half, when Torlan Babon opened the scoring after an early error by goalkeeper Juan Moreno.
Millonarios tried from all sides and managed to keep everything open and get a draw, but Nacional will have the chance to end their streak in front of their fans.
When will the final round of BetPlay Cup 2023-II be played?
Millonarios and Atlético Nacional will meet again next Thursday, November 23, 2023, and the new champion of the BetPlay Cup will be decided at the Atanasio Girardot Stadium.
