United Airlines flight returns to Denver airport after engine parts fall off | Univision News United States

The United Airlines plane had an engine problem on Saturday and had to land in Denver, Colorado after hitting several parts of the plane in several Broomfield neighborhoods.

United Flight 328 Daniel K. from Denver. Flew to Inoue International Airport Honolulu, Hawaii, At the time of the incident.

Police in Broomfield, Colorado, parts of the plane crashed, and on Twitter, debris was recorded in various areas of the city around 1 p.m., local time.

On his Twitter account, police authority They shared pictures of the numerous rubbish separated from the plane through the corridors of gardens, parks and houses in different neighborhoods.

The CNN chain broadcast an audio indicating that the pilots had issued an emergency call to the air traffic controllers. In the audio released by CNN it is asked “We have experienced engine failure”.

Several unverified videos of passengers aboard United Flight 328 have been circulating on social media.

“No injuries were reported at the time … some of the debris fell on Commons Park, Northmore and Red Leaf neighborhoods. Our patrol officers are working to find all the debris,” Broomfield Police said.

Police advised people to “avoid the area if possible” and “do not move debris” as the National Transportation Safety Board (NDSP) will investigate pieces lost by the plane.

The FAA, for its part, said “He knows information about the debris near the plane’s runway.”

Passengers alighted and were safely transferred to the terminal by bus, officials said.
