The Government of Chubut opens a new call for Curricular Improvement II

The Government of the Province of Chubut, through the Secretariat of Science, Technology, Productive Innovation and Culture (SCTIPyC) led by Mauro Carrasco, opens the 2021 call for the Curricular Improvement Program II (ProMec II), which aims to support and guarantee the training of doctoral and postdoctoral applicants who were denied by CONICET in order to strengthen their background and acquire new tools. The purpose of this call is to continue with the high-quality human resources training policies for Chubut researchers.

Through the aforementioned Program, the Government of the Province of Chubut proposes to strengthen the development of scientific, social and technological knowledge and to promote the labor insertion of researchers in the Institutions of the scientific-technological ecosystem of the Province.

The call will be open from April 8 to 16, to start it from May and will be done online through the SCTIPyC Call System, (http: // scteip-calls .tk /).

Applicants must present, in addition to the work plan submitted to CONICET and the organism’s opinion, an Activity Plan in word format (up to 3 pages) describing objectives and possible results.

This plan will be subject to the duration of the scholarship (12 months) and must include a bimonthly discrimination of the activities to be carried out. In turn, the proposed activities must have as their first objective the curricular improvement of the interested party, directly related to the opinion received from CONICET, in such a way as to improve their background. Likewise, the SCTIPyC may add science and technology activities for short-term application depending on the needs of the Province, such as dissemination, training, linking, participation in projects, etc.
