Heidi Musa was released after being questioned by Yeni Bernice

Santiago, R.D.

After several hours of being interviewed by public ministry officials led by Deputy Attorney General Yeni Bernice Rhinoso, Heidi Musa left with his lawyers and his family, citing alleged links in Operation Falcon.

According to her lawyers, if Heidi decides to search for her again, justice and the authorities will be at their disposal.

Heidi, a former deputy candidate of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), appeared before authorities this morning to “show his face” and from that moment on he was inside the Santiago attorney’s office, located inside the city’s Palace of Justice.

It is not yet known what topics were discussed in the interview.

Heidi and her brother Waldo were arrested Thursday night, the son-in-law of Juan Muscua, the former mayor of Puerto Plata, Walter Musa, who played a key role in the Falcon operation.

A few hours ago, Haiti’s lawyer, Carlos Ponila, confirmed that his representative and Juan Masjid had an emotional relationship, but were unaware of its implications for the illegal activities he was accused of.

The inquest into the forced action of those involved in the Falcon operation this afternoon was adjourned for a second time at 10 a.m. Monday.
