With no space at Atlético-MG, midfielder Yago approaches Juventude

Yago defended CSA in the Brazilian’s last Serie B and arrives on loan until December

Caxias do Sul, RS, 13 (AFI) – Defender Vitor Mendes will not be the only player on loan from Atlético-MG to Juventude. He will be joined by Yago, 25 years old.

The player, who defended the CSA in the last Brazilian Championship of Series B, is not in the plans of coach Jorge Sampaoli and was released to defend Juventude in the 2021 season.

Revealed in the base categories of Atlético-MG, Yago was promoted to professional in 2016 and in the last two seasons he ended up on loan to Al-Qadisiya-SAU, Sport and CSA.

In the last Serie B of the Brazilian, the midfielder was one of the highlights in the good campaign carried out by CSA, which fought for a place in the G4 until the last day. Yago played 47 games and scored five goals.

In the coming days, the Juventude board also expects to announce the hiring of experienced midfielder Renan Bressan, who was demoted from Paraná to Serie C.
