Four energy drinks are sold in North America: Coke Energy, Coke Energy Zero Sugar, Coke Energy Cherry, and Coke Energy Cherry Zero Sugar. The drink consists of extracts of guarana and vitamin B, and contains 114 mg of caffeine per 355 milliliters (ml). A 355ml box of Regular Coca-Cola contains around 34mg of caffeine.
Coke Energy will continue to be sold in other parts of the world.
It is Coca-Cola’s newest product removed from its wide range. The Atlanta-based company announced last year that it was retiring from 200 brands, or about half of its catalog. The reduction will allow Coca-Cola to focus on its more profitable offerings.
