Cultural programs this weekend at La Fábrica de Luz. The Energy Museum and Culture of La Térmica in Ponferrada proposes this weekend a scientific workshop, musical performances by the Llau y Farrustel & La Farrulata group, a visit to the “Tierra negra” exhibition. Mines and miners and two guided tours of the facilities.
The science workshop, titled “Electric Art,” will be held at the Energy Museum on Saturday, September 21, starting at 1:00 p.m., and will allow attendees to participate in various science challenges and experience science in nature and in the classroom.
In addition, at La Fábrica de la Luz you can also visit the exhibition “Black Earth”. Mines and miners, a photographic tour of the last quarter century of mining activity, signed by photojournalists Eduardo Urdangaray and Ramón Jiménez. It is made up of 40 black and white images, selected from 30,000 photographs.
On the other hand, music will dominate La Térmica Culture thanks to the Dinamiz-ARTj program, which will host on Friday, September 20, at 7:30 p.m., the Asturian folk music concert of the Llau group. Likewise, on Saturday, September 21, at 7:30 p.m., there will be a performance by Farrustel & La Farrulata, a show that combines rumba and rock through wind, string and percussion instruments, accompanied by voice and choirs. In addition, there will be two guided tours this weekend inside La Térmica Culture.
