Sarfrisa blocks the Mexicans’ right-footer and draws against Poomas at the Confederations Cup

Costa Rica’s Sabrisa drew 2-2 with Poomas on Wednesday in the first leg of the 16th round of the Concacaf Champions League-2022, blocking the Mexicans’ right-of-way.

On Tuesday, Santos defeated Montreal from Canada, Leon Guatemala defeated Guastatoya on Wednesday, while Cruz Azul defeated Canada’s Forge.

In the first match of the triple header on Wednesday, Mexico’s Leon went to Guatemala City’s Dorotio Guamu Flores and defeated Guatemala’s Quastado 2-0.

* The match between the Haitian Qawwali and the American New England Revolution scheduled for Friday was canceled because the Caribbean team withdrew from the match without being able to complete the visa process to go to the United States.

The New England Revolution advanced directly to the quarterfinals, in which they faced the main Sabrisa winner against Poomas.
