Miss Universe 2023, Shaneice PalaciosAn Instagram story featured her mother’s traditional buñuelos, a Nicaraguan dessert, the same foods the young woman sold to study for a university degree at the now-confiscated University of Central America (UCA).

Bunelos made of cassava and cheese are now iconic and a symbol of the Nicaraguan beauty’s personal struggles to become a professional woman, but they are also an indicator of Palacios’ pride through a touch of culinary and musical richness. Country of birth

In the photo you can see freshly made sweets with the inevitable homemade honey, all prepared by his mother Raquel Cornejo.

The story of social media was set to music with the song Nicaraguan group Fuzion 4 I will dedicate Miss Universe 2023 “We love you Shaneice.”

In the background of the photo, you can hear, “You are a bunuelito in honey, your name is a beautiful proverb, with the strength of a volcano we say Shaynis Palacios”, part of the stanzas echoing in the publication.

The Nicaraguan dessert Buñuelo is not only nationally and internationally popular because it is associated with the life story of a Nicaraguan woman recognized as the most beautiful woman on the planet.

“Miss Freighters”

Presenters of children-run television channel Daniel Ortega And Rosario Murillo mocked Nicaragua’s representative for buñuelos — a dessert made from tapioca with yogurt or cheese and honey — to help pay for their studies.

When Sandinista sympathizers called her “Miss Tranguera” on social media for taking part in an anti-government march in 2018, one of the organizers said “Miss Buñuelos”.
