According to Radio Rebelde journalist Guillermo Rodríguez in his social networks, the main Cuban sports event, in its 62nd edition, will begin in September 2023, confirmed the aforementioned media company Juan Reynaldo Perez, Cuban Baseball Federation and National President Disciplinary Commissioner.

“The series started in January because of all the times we were without baseball due to the pandemic. For me, September is the best date to start because our main event will not be affected by players coming out of contracts.
