Hutchison Ports BEST launches the mobile application, when, taking another step towards digitization and sustainability of the logistics chain. The application has various functionalities, such as monitoring the ships, trains, containers and trucks that carry out operations in BEST.

when is a new channel that makes BEST available to its users. It provides information transparency and agility in decision-making to favor the reduction in operational times of the logistics chain. In addition, it is updated with the news or incidents that arise in the terminal.

It is an application developed by the Hutchison Ports group and adapted to each terminal. The application is called when referring to the Latin term “ubique”, which means “ubiquitous”, that is, it is everywhere at all times.

With this application, the truck door process is digitized, allowing operations to be followed without papers, avoiding physical contact in times of pandemic. Specifically, the driver can view the pin code, before entering the terminal, to find out when you can pick up or deliver your container and receive the door tickets on your mobile.

Further, when warns about changes in the status of the ships, trains and containers that you have chosen to follow.

This application is aimed at all users of the terminal, both shipping companies, rail operators, freight forwarders, transport companies, importers / exporters and even the truck driver himself.

The application is free and is already available at App store Y Google play.
