Nestor Reverol, Venezuela’s popular minister of electric energy, announced this Tuesday, November 28, at a meeting held at the Palacio de los Condors, that a new phase of load management will be launched for the first months of 2024. Due to the task of stabilizing the national electricity system.

Balza, president of Fedecamaras Zulia, and Ezio Angelini, Secretary General of the Administrative Commission, “The best humanitarian agreement to solve the electricity crisis in Zulia.”

Reverol pointed out at the meeting that the second phase of the Clean Slate project will begin soon, which will be implemented with the installation of residential meters.

He also highlighted that the Andean Development Corporation (CAF) will provide its support to start the recovery work of the national power system and the sub-lacustrine cable that supplies electricity to much of the region.

On the other hand, he declared that the state of Julia consumes 17% of the national demand, according to the manager of the electric power portfolio in January, where there was a consumption of 1,900 MW per day, after 11 months it was 2,254 MB. . He argued: “Due to circumstances like these, we cannot expect energy to be stable, reliable and secure.”

For his part, Julia State Governor Manuel Rosales has indicated that the contribution of resources through the CAF will be a result of the Barbados agreements, so he hopes negotiations will resume.
