Zacatecas, Zack. The Autonomous University of Zacatecas (UAZ), through the Academic Unit of Political Science (UACP), invites all interested parties to join the seventh generation 2023-2027 of the Doctoral Program in Political Science.

The PhD in Political Science from the Autonomous University of Zacatecas is a program committed to the training of social researchers specialized in the field of political science, the aim of which is to contribute to the training of trained researchers in the original production of knowledge, to participate in the promotion of graduate studies and, in general, to perform their functions at the level of excellence.

Given the criteria of quality, importance, and impact on high-level human resource training, academic productivity, and collaboration with other sectors of society, the postgraduate course is recognized by the National Postgraduate System (formerly PNPC) of the National Science and Technology Council (CONASET) at a standardized level. The study plan revolves around activities aimed at comprehensive training in the field of research. It is based on the idea of ​​learning that includes critical capacity development, problem-proofing, rupture, and idea production.

Some of the characteristics that applicants must possess to be part of this academic program are: verifiable ability for independent research, reading comprehension of material typical of the discipline, and logical and consistent management in written and oral form, allowing them to present the original.
