PLD to PRM: “Popular change failed, they can’t show any major achievements”

While the Dominican people wait President’s Speech Luis Abinador in his two-year government, the political committee of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) revealed the current administration this Tuesday. He has no achievements to celebrate.

General Secretary of the PLD, Charles Mariotti, presided over a press conference for about eleven minutes, where he gave details of why the Abinadar government has not shown any achievements after two years of administration.

Popular change is a change back, “When we count the economy, the health sector, the fight against corruption, irregularities in social programs, deficiencies in the basic basket and other services, the transition has failed,” Mariotti revealed.

He said the government has raised the debt to $1,103 this time and increased the base basket by 17.5 percent while promising to reduce it by 30 percent.

He pointed out that it has increased Electricity bill cost 35 percent.

Mariotti urged the President “Good deeds cannot be done without actions” referring to various frauds committed in some public institutions.

As an example, he cited the fraud of the social program Supérate, where they defrauded the government “of 600 million pesos to the most vulnerable without punishing the criminals of their government, but three colmateros.”

He also mentioned.PRM has no unity in the fight against corruptionfor it does not interrogate its officers when it subdues its enemies.
