Dodgers walk-off vs. SF.

LOS ANGELES — Chris Taylor’s line drive to center field in the 10th inning lifted the defending National League West champion Dodgers to a 3-2 win over the San Francisco Giants on Sunday night.

Dominican Amed Rosario opened the inning with an automatic runner on second base and advanced to third on a grounder to shortstop by pinch-hitter Golden Wong. Taylor singled off Camilo Dorval (6-6) to drive in Rosario and the Dodgers have a 6-6 record in games that go to extra innings this season.

The Giants loaded the bases in the 10th. Pinch-hitter Mitch Haniger was the starting runner at second to start the inning. After JD Davis struck out, Joc Pederson was walked intentionally by Shelby Miller (3-0). Venezuela’s Tyro Estrada hit a fly ball to center, and Kick Hernandez was lost in the dust. It fell to the left to load platforms.

But the Dodgers got out of trouble with a tremendous double play. Pinch-hitter Patrick Bailey hit a grounder up the middle, and Miller took the ball with his arm to second and then threw to first.

For the Giants, Tyro Estrada of Venezuela is 5-2; and Wilmar Flores 2-2. Dominican Marco Luciano 4-1

Dominican Amed Rosario scored a run for the Dodgers. David Peralta of Venezuela 1-0; Miguel Rojas 2-0.
