Congress Creates Education, Science, and Technology Committee

Highlighting the interest in linking legislative action to the needs of educational and scientific institutions in Baja California, Representative Montserrat Murillo López began her duties as Chair of the Education, Humanities, Science and Technology Committee of the State Congress.
In her message, the President of CehcytEHCyT thanked the attendees for their presence, especially the Dean of UABC, Enrique Palafox, for opening the maximum doors of the entity's House of Studies to allow the installation of the aforementioned committee there.
He announced that he will look for places to hold the sessions of this committee that he chairs, in various universities and universities in other municipalities of the country, so he will seek to communicate with university deans; and also with unions to work hand in hand for the benefit of society.
He stressed that teaching provides knowledge to society, enriches culture, values ​​and everything that distinguishes a person.

He stated that education is a basic right for all girls, boys and adolescents in our country, as well as for adults.
The Legislative Committee, chaired by the deputy, is also composed of the legislators: Ramón Vázquez, as secretary; Michelle Sánchez, Alejandra Ang, Gloria Arcelia Miramontes, Juan Manuel Molina, and Jaime Canton, as members, and the deputies present were: Alejandrina Corral and María Yolanda Gaona.
