The Pro Mar del Plata-Batán celebrates the first year of the creation of the space Pro Assets Mar del Plata-Batán, an entity that took its first steps in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic with the main objective of containing, accompanying and assisting residents of the city.
Continuing its work of annexing various activities under the coordination of Marcela Liliana Pastorini, the headquarters opened its doors on Avenida Colón 2.010 in March of last year with 25 residents committed to offering their solidarity. Today they make it up more than 500 volunteers and grows day by day.
In its political activity, the space was dedicated to promoting, disseminating and training volunteers and their militancy for the legislative elections of 2021.
Continuing with the line drawn from its beginnings and imposing its own imprint, the Pro Activos Mar del Plata-Batán space “has stood out more than for being a political space, a big family, where projects, actions and new ideas abound, focused on carrying out more and better activities, aimed at all the residents of General Pueyrredon ”, they remarked from the entity.
To celebrate this first year, an event was held where the main protagonists were boys and girls, with the arrival of the Three Wise Men, as well as clowns, magician, singer, children’s entertainers and artistic makeup. There were also gifts and various surprises.
For this reason, Pro Activos Mar del Plata-Batán thanked the participation and collaboration of the president of Pro, Emiliano Giri; the JPro represented by its president Agustina Marchen; the coordinator of the Territorial, Claudia Coria; El Molino bakery; El Gauchito wholesale supermarket; and neighbors who attended “in solidarity and selflessly”, summoned by social networks.
“In this sense, the special and very particular gratitude goes to each of its tireless members, teachers, students, volunteers and activists, who through their silent, but invaluable contributions make to the essence of Pro Activos”, they completed.
