Alejandra Guzman confirmed that Sylvia Pinal has been hospitalized for fever

Mexico City – Alejandra Guzmán spoke about the health of her mother, Silvia Pinal, 93, after various media reported that the actress had been hospitalized.

Pinal had to be hospitalized on the night of December 21 due to fever.

“My mother got fever and was admitted to the hospital. It was very complicated and we came to remove his phlegm,” Guzmán told various media.

The singer assured that her mother's health has improved significantly.

“She's progressing incredibly well and now we're talking to a new geriatrician. She's very strong, her heart is strong, she's very healthy,” Guzman added.

For her part, a doctor who appeared with Guzman informed the actress that she had a viral flu infection that was complicated by a bacterial infection. This condition leads to pneumonia. Likewise, the doctor indicated that the worst stage of the disease had already passed and the rehabilitation of the lungs would be worked on before discharging him.

La Guzmán admitted that she also had a fever, but assured her mother that she was strong and improving, even though she had to wait to be discharged.
