A space to talk about music

Today, Tuesday, at 7:00 pm in the Cultural Center of Spain in Córdoba (Entre Ríos 40) there will be a discussion on collective creativity in the musical field. The meeting will witness the participation of musicians Anna Votel and Gabriela Yaya.

The Conversation, curated by the music creativity group Lotano, was proposed as a space where ways to create music can be rethought and shared collectively through dialogue.

“We believe talking about this is essential to contextualizing and reflecting on our practices and ways of communicating. For this reason, we invite you to participate in the meeting, to consider the implications of collective creativity from different experiences, enabling an interdisciplinary dialogue where new intersections can arise between Artists can display new meeting points”they argue from the organization.

The activity is intended for artists and musicians, but also for those interested in the topic. It is a meeting with free entry.

Gabi Yaya
She is a composer and teacher at UNC, and she works specifically with electro-acoustic mixed music and interdisciplinary and experimental proposals. His compositions were shown for the first time in Argentina, Spain, the Netherlands, Colombia and others. He received various certificates of appreciation, such as those awarded by the Conservatory of Electro-acoustic Music in Bourges, France; Quilms University. Goethe Institute or UNESCO Culture.

Anna Votel
A musician, pianist and teacher dedicated to contemporary music, she has given concerts and performances with works by local composers mostly as part of ensembles and as a soloist. He published a book “El otro Piano” (2008 and 2016) on extended techniques on the piano, a material that he disseminates in various musical institutions in the country through lessons and concerts.
