An American Airlines plane, which took off this afternoon from San Juan bound for Dallas, encountered an unspecified situation, which is why it had to be diverted to Miami Airport.

This was stated by a press spokesman for Aerostar, the company that operates San Juan Airport Waba Digital It was the plane’s pilot who reported the situation a few minutes after it took off from San Juan.

For these purposes, Aerostar has deployed its own emergency team, in case it has to provide any type of response.

However, shortly after, the plane reported that it was able to control the situation and reroute the flight to Miami, where it will receive service and the airline will determine the steps to follow.

Citizens reported on social media that they saw the plane flying over the Vega Baja, Dorado and Manatee regions.

Aerostar stated that it was not receiving detailed information from the airline about the situation.
