Badajoz artist Paloma Albarrán stars in the new exhibition at the Belleartes space in Cáceres that will host the exhibition titled “Piel y seda”, which can be viewed from February 9 to 25. The exhibition takes as its central axis the female character, within a noticeable naturalness that works with sensuality and sensitivity, in everyday environments, escaping academic idealism.
Specifically, Paloma Albarrán trained at the Badajoz School of Arts and Crafts and for another six years at the Diego Simancas Academy of Arts.
She understands art as an oasis and a refuge from life. His broken, fragmented, fast and spontaneous brushstrokes are interspersed with lines that seek to glorify colour.
Moreover, the day before the opening of this exhibition, on Thursday the 8th of the same month, the Biliartes space will host the presentation of the book “Non-Fictional Characters in the Capital” by Pablo Huásquez, a musician who has always been attracted to artistic experimentation. Since he was a teenager, he has sought different forms of creativity.
It should be noted that the book is a tour of the streets of Madrid through the lens of the author in the form of “short, direct, poignant, amazing stories that give voice to small stories from the capital’s present, which, like small pieces, allow us to better understand the puzzle in which they all live.” According to the organization.
