Cuban host Alexander Otola and musician Descemar Bueno have settled their dispute in a Miami-Dade court.

As Otaola announced on his social networks, the two reached an agreement, the terms of which are confidential. They will donate an undisclosed figure to the Patriotic Union of Cuba (UNPACU).

Otaola said on Facebook on Thursday that he had suspended the show for “powerful and legal reasons”.

The influencer shared the news on his social networks without giving further details. However, he clarified that it will go on air this Friday.

As of this writing, the composer has not made any public statement in this regard.

Descemer and Otaola have been in a legal dispute for years. The singer sued him for racism.

“The bitter experience of appearing in court, I will hold my head high and sue you for racism and many other things, I hope God and the judge of this country will put you in your place and know how to respect Afro. Artists who are descendants of our black culture and our history”, in Bueno 2020 said.

News in development.
