Ukraine’s Deputy Defense Minister Hannah Myler has announced “tactical successes” on all fronts where the military counteroffensive against Russian forces has been launched.

“Our units in the south are attacking in every sector and they have achieved tactical victories. They are progressing gradually. At the moment the progress is up to two kilometers in each direction,” he described in a message posted on Telegram.

In Berdiansk and Mariupol Russian forces are “withdrawing troops from other positions and increasing firepower while advancing on the mines”.

This “partial victory” had been achieved despite “the enemy’s air and artillery superiority,” Mailar insisted. He also asserted that “in the directions where we are on the defensive, not a single position has been lost and the enemy has not been able to advance.”

In the east, operations are concentrated in the city of Limansk, where “the enemy is trying to dislodge our troops from their positions.”

Meanwhile, in Pakmut, the epicenter of fighting in recent weeks, “the general intensity of the fighting has somewhat decreased” while Ukrainians take up positions on heights and forests “with the aim of gradually driving the enemy out of the Pakmut approaches”. Despite the fact that they receive reinforcements from other sectors.

Russia shoots down 3 iPhone drones that attacked Drushpa refinery

Alexander Bogomas, the governor of Russia’s Bryansk region, announced that he had shot down three drones that were poised to attack a crude oil refinery this Saturday night.

“Air defense units of the Russian Armed Forces tonight repelled an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Drushpa oil refinery in the Novosibirsk urban district. Three aircraft-type drones were destroyed thanks to the expertise of our military air defense systems,” Bogomas explained in a telegram.

On June 9, Russian officials announced drone strikes on Belgorod and Kursk. A plane struck an office in Belgorod and set it on fire, and in Kursk a drone crashed near a fuel depot in the regional capital.

Ukrainian drone strikes have focused on Russian military logistics, although Kyiv has not acknowledged any of these attacks.
