Dominican Airlines Red Air will operate four new routes

Dominican Capital Airlines Red Air will expand its services from Santo Domingo to Tampa (USA) and the Colombian cities of Cartagena and Medellin and the capital of Costa Rica, San Jose.

The Civil Aviation Board (JAC) announced on Tuesday that the company will use the Boeing MT-10 aircraft in each of the 12 seats in business class and 137 economy classes on each route.

The Santo Domingo-Tampa and Santo Domingo-San Jose routes will operate three weekly flights and the Santo Domingo-Medellin and Santo Domingo-Cartagena routes twice a week, JAC President Jose Marte Byandini said.

The company also approved requests made by Iberia of Spain to upgrade the Barcelona-Punta Ghana route.

Iberia will promote this route under the Level brand’s marketing plan, and will do so through a code-sharing agreement with air operator Welling Airlines during the winter, from October 31, 2021 to March 26.

Martே Byandini highlighted the marketing dynamics implemented by Iberia using the Level brand to resume operations along this route, the best “thermometer” to measure the “accelerated recovery” that aircraft continue to show. And business of the Dominican Republic.
