Viva la Plaza, cultural and family life space in Los Cabos – El Sudcaliforniano

Los Cabos, Baja California Sur (OEM-Informex) .- Seeking to counteract the effects of the pandemic, the XIII City Council of Los Cabos continues to guarantee safe spaces so that citizens can carry out recreational activities and that the artistic community can offer their wonderful creations.

With this program of family recreation it is also allowed to reactivate its economy; one of those spaces is the public square “Amelia Wilkes Ceseña” which is located in the golden zone of Cabo San Lucas: an iconic place that houses artists, colors and flavors every Friday from 6:00 pm to 10:00 am night, through “Viva la Plaza”.

This cultural space, which has won the approval of the public, is promoted by the General Directorate of Economic Development and Tourism, as well as by the Institute of Culture and the Arts of the Municipality of Los Cabos (ICA), with the aim of encouraging education , culture and physical activation, while promoting the consumption of local products, -from regional recipes and products to paintings and handicrafts-.

It should be noted that thanks to “Viva la Plaza”, every Friday citizens can enjoy artistic, gastronomic and cultural exhibitions, with the assurance that hygiene protocols are followed at all times, such as the mandatory use of face masks, constant application of antibacterial gel and respect for healthy distance; Due to these hygiene filters implemented by the Municipal Government, it is possible to exhort citizens to attend and help reactivate the destination’s economy.
