With the aim of promoting knowledge through culture and science, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, together with the Mexican Council for Science and Technology (Comecyt), the State Commission for Natural Parks and Fauna (Cepanaf) and the Astronomical Society of the Toluca Valley, offer many activities for the whole family in the science park “Fundadores” .
Through the COMESET, during the Saturday and Sunday of August, the “Summer in Science” is held, which aims to arouse scientific and technological curiosity. The activity is free on a schedule from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Attendees will be able to participate in various workshops and fun activities such as Non-Newtonian Fluids, Sensorama, Balance and Center of Mass, Science Rally, Science Challenges and Health Science.
Responsible for the Astronomical Association of the Toluca Valley, at the Planetarium of the Science Park “Fundadores”, the “Mercurio” conference will be held on August 11, 12 and 13, at 6:00 pm, in which it will be declared the planet of the solar system closest to the sun and the smallest.
Cepanaf arrives at the “Fundadores” Science Park with the monthly “Greenhouse” activity. Through games like Snakes and Ladders, the importance of this natural phenomenon and why it is so important to care about the environment will be revealed. The activity will take place on August 6 and 7, starting at 11:00.
In addition to enjoying all that this garden has to offer, attendees enjoy activities they have access to, such as visits to the emblematic Cosmovitral Botanical Garden and Historic Center museums such as the Bellas Artes, or those that make up the Corridor de la Plástica Mexiquense.
