Students from Mérida connect with science from everyday life

In an initiative to foster a love of science from an early age, the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite) in the state of Mérida, continues to promote fun and knowledge-laden activities to serve students in the region.

On a new Science Assembly Day, 50 boys and girls from the “El Rincon” educational unit participated in an experience of approaching various applications of science and technology, at the headquarters of the body affiliated with the Ministry of People’s Power for Science and Technology (MINSET).

During the activity, students learned about educational robotics, biology, astronomy, physics, chemistry, etc., through dynamic and interactive activities.

In addition to awakening scientific curiosity in young people, it also showed that science is available and can be explored by everyone.

The Mincyt National Scientific Seed Program continues its mission of inspiring future generations, ensuring that the passion for knowledge and innovation continues to grow in every corner of the country, complying with love and perseverance to the directives of the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro.
