The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has unveiled an officially licensed collection of commemorative bobbleheads celebrating the Oklahoma Sooners’ 2026 NCAA Baseball National Championship, following the team’s historic College World Series victory earlier this week.
The limited-edition collection, produced under licence from the University of Oklahoma, commemorates the Sooners’ third national baseball title and their first championship since 1994. The release comes just days after Oklahoma secured the crown with an emphatic win over North Carolina in the College World Series finals.
The collection consists of three specially designed bobbleheads. Featured are mascots Boomer and Sooner, each wearing Oklahoma baseball uniforms and standing on bases displaying the 2026 NCAA Baseball National Champions logo. A third collectible showcases the championship logo mounted on a baseball-themed base with “OKLAHOMA SOONERS” displayed across the front.
Each item will be individually numbered, with production limited to 2,026 units. The mascot bobbleheads are priced at $40 each, while the championship logo version is available for $30. A discounted three-piece set is also being offered to collectors and fans.
The launch follows a memorable championship campaign for Oklahoma, which completed one of the most unlikely title runs in recent college baseball history. On Monday, June 22, the Sooners defeated North Carolina 13-2 in the decisive third game of the best-of-three championship series at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska.
The victory secured Oklahoma’s third national championship in baseball, adding to titles won in 1951 and 1994. It also marked the programme’s first national crown in more than three decades.
The achievement was particularly notable given the team’s struggles earlier in the season. Oklahoma entered the year having been picked to finish 14th in the Southeastern Conference preseason poll. The Sooners ultimately finished 11th in the conference standings and entered postseason play having lost seven of their previous nine games.
Despite those setbacks, the team found momentum at the most important stage of the season.
“They got real confident the last month,” OU coach Skip Johnson said. “They care about each other. They didn’t want to give in. They were selfless.”
Oklahoma’s championship-clinching performance featured several standout individual contributions. Kyle Branch delivered a dominant offensive display, going 3-for-4 with a home run and six RBI. Jaxon Willits also finished 3-for-4 while driving in two runs, and Dayton Tockey added a home run as the Sooners overwhelmed North Carolina.
On the mound, junior right-hander LJ Mercurius played a crucial role after entering in relief during the third inning. Mercurius scattered four hits over 5.2 innings, allowing just one run while striking out five batters to secure the victory.
The championship series itself required all three games. Oklahoma opened with a convincing 9-3 victory in Game One before North Carolina responded with a 6-2 win in Game Two to force a deciding contest. The Sooners then delivered their dominant Game Three performance to claim the national title.
Playing in its 12th College World Series appearance, Oklahoma completed the season with a 43-23 record. Willits was named the College World Series Most Outstanding Player following his performances throughout the tournament. Catcher Deiten LaChance and outfielders Jason Walk and Dasan Harris were also recognised with selections to the All-Tournament Team.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum said the new collection provides fans with a unique way to commemorate the championship achievement.

These are must-haves for fans of the Oklahoma Sooners!”
The bobbleheads are expected to ship in November and are anticipated to attract strong demand from alumni, collectors and supporters seeking to mark one of the most memorable seasons in Oklahoma baseball history.
Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum opened to the public in February 2019. In addition to operating the museum, the organisation produces customised bobbleheads for retail customers, sports teams, organisations and individuals across the United States.
The latest release reflects the continuing commercial appeal of championship memorabilia, while offering Oklahoma fans a lasting tribute to a season that exceeded expectations and culminated in national glory.
