OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt has appointed Tulsa-based housing and community development professional Jeff Hall to the Board of Trustees of the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency (OHFA), reinforcing the agency’s leadership as demand for affordable housing continues to increase across the state.

Hall will serve on the board until May 2031, joining the volunteer governing body responsible for overseeing the agency’s mission of expanding access to affordable housing for individuals and families across Oklahoma. The appointment brings extensive experience in housing policy, community development and capital investment to the agency at a time when housing affordability remains an important issue for communities across the state.

“Jeff Hall brings a strong track record in housing and community development,” Deborah Jenkins, OHFA executive director, said. “His experience is especially valuable as demand for housing resources continues to grow across Oklahoma.”

Hall currently serves as senior program officer for housing and capital development at the Anne & Henry Zarrow Foundation, a Tulsa-based grantmaking organisation focused on supporting community initiatives. In his current position, he oversees programmes and capital investments aimed at strengthening housing opportunities and encouraging long-term community development.

Before joining the foundation, Hall held leadership roles at the Tulsa Housing Authority, where he gained extensive experience in public housing administration and affordable housing programmes. He also served in a leadership capacity at the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency in Nashville, broadening his expertise in housing operations, strategic planning and community-focused development.

His professional background spans both the public and philanthropic sectors, providing him with experience in managing housing initiatives, developing partnerships and supporting projects designed to improve housing accessibility. That combination of experience is expected to contribute to the board’s oversight of programmes that benefit residents seeking affordable housing solutions.

The Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency plays a significant role in expanding housing opportunities across the state through a range of financing programmes and partnerships. The agency works with developers, lenders, local governments and community organisations to encourage the development, preservation and financing of affordable housing for individuals and families with varying income levels.

As housing demand continues to evolve, the agency remains focused on supporting initiatives that increase the supply of affordable homes while helping communities address changing housing needs. Effective governance is considered an important part of ensuring these programmes continue to deliver long-term benefits for Oklahomans.

OHFA trustees are appointed by the governor to staggered five-year terms and serve on a voluntary basis. Their responsibilities include providing strategic oversight, reviewing agency policies and helping ensure the organisation continues to fulfil its mission of serving residents in need of affordable housing.

Hall’s appointment reflects the state’s continued emphasis on experienced leadership within organisations responsible for housing and community development. His knowledge of housing finance, programme management and community investment is expected to support the board as it addresses both current and future housing challenges.

With his term extending through May 2031, Hall will join fellow trustees in guiding the agency’s long-term priorities while contributing to decisions that support affordable housing initiatives across Oklahoma. His appointment adds another experienced housing professional to the board as the agency continues its work to improve housing access and strengthen communities throughout the state.
