The former president of Bolivia, Evo Morales, has spoken out on the COVID-19 pandemic with comments that contradict science during a recent visit to Peru.
At a press conference, he blamed the so-called “New world order” for the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
“About the pandemic, I am convinced that it is part of a biological warfare. Capitalism, imperialism that exports nuclear weapons, chemical weapons, even biological weapons, ”said the former Bolivian president.
For Morales, the pandemic seeks to eliminate the elderly, poor and disabled population, which is supposedly unproductive and represents a social burden.
“I am a defender of collective rights, of the rights of the poorest people, for capitalism, poor people are unnecessary people for the State”, Morales assured.
“This pandemic, who kills first is the old men and women, people with disabilities. For this reason, I am convinced that this pandemic is part of a biological warfare, ”said Morales, who ruled Bolivia from 2006 to 2019.
Besides, Morales He ruled out being an advisor to the president of Peru, Pedro Castillo, but maintained that he has enormous coincidences with his government program.

Morales showed his position against the Organization of American States (OAS), which he classified as a body that “promotes coups.”
“We want an AEO of the people and not of the empire. We want an OAS at the service of humble people, poor people, and not an undemocratic OAS, not an OAS that only promotes coups. Imperialism and capitalism impose economic sanctions, economic blockade, promote coups against anti-imperialist governments ”, he added.
