The President of the Republic of Moldova announced on Facebook on Sunday that he had held a meeting with the Attorney General of the European Attorney’s Office, Laura Kotruna Covey. The debate took place in Brussels.
“Today in Brussels, I had a meeting with the Attorney General of the European Attorney’s Office, Laura Codruna Covezi. We discussed the need for reforms in the judiciary in the Republic of Moldova. This is the first step in launching and launching joint action in the fight against money laundering, ”Mia Sandu said in a Facebook post.
Mia Sandu took office on December 24, marking the change in attitude of Brussels to one of its first foreign destinations, Igor Dodan, who was considered to be pro-Russian. On Monday, Mia Sandu will meet with European Commission President Ursula van der Leyen.
