MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov urged the United States to present evidence to support its accusations to his country of having allegedly caused risks to the peaceful use of space.
“To say that Russia creates risks for the use of space for peaceful purposes is hypocritical to say the least. They have not presented evidence,” Lavrov said in a press appearance.
On November 15, the US government accused Russia of shooting down a satellite with a missile, which allegedly generated space debris.
