This is becoming more and more apparent Android users switching to iPhone. There could be many reasons, that's all The fact that there is variety in terms of brands and operating systems makes this page a bit confusing to look at (Not so dark). Recently, the company released a report on new iPhone buyers coming from CIRP Android, which is interesting. In the last two years, the figure has been 13 to 15 percent. A new report has just been released that reflects which iPhone models are attractive to new users. Can you guess which one is the most popular?

iPhone 14 is the most popular choice of Androids

According to the report, new iPhone users in the US who came from Android are opting for the iPhone 14 or 14 Plus. The percentage is clear, it is 26% purchases. The iPhone 14 Pro or Pro Max is one percent less.

The iPhone 15 is available but new buyers rarely opt for it. What is this for? They don't choose the newest, but the most recent. Maybe they don't want to walk away with the first purchase, but engage with the new ecosystem first and find out if it satisfies them or not. This is supported as the report also shows from the budget featureA similar amount is the percentage of users choosing the iPhone SE, iPhone 12 or 13.

Some users have left their Android device mostly in the mid-upper range, so it's not as expensive as the iPhone. According to CIRP older devices are generally not the best budget option.

So tempted to switch from Android to iPhone, why?

The app has over 100 million downloads from Android users who prefer to have an iPhone

Revealing my own experience, in June 2023, I switched to this good side of the coin since the Android platform started bothering me. Plus, a good number of friends and family have an iPhone The use of AirDrop, Face ID and iMessages becomes indispensableBesides Integration between the current ecosystem I have (macOS, tvOS and now iOS).

There are other users who have stayed with Android for years and have highlighted similar benefits. FaceTime, quick notifications and a cleaner operating system like this Reddit user are important advantages to highlight. On the other hand, from Android to iPhone, their design, optimization and usability of Safari are more than satisfactory experiences.

More users are switching from Android to iPhone than the other way around

Most of these users moving from Android to iPhone are likely futures like my colleague Angel Roca, who has been using iPhone as his main device since 2010.

Let me repeat my personal point, my last iPhone was 7 plus and I had it for 4 years. The new features offered by Xiaomi in 2020 initially attracted me and I made a satisfactory purchase, but in terms of performance it only lasted for almost 3 years. My demands changed and I decided to go for the iPhone 14 Pro. Xiaomi is now acting as a secondary device and I plan to keep the said iPhone for a long time Both iOS and the way the iPhone works are very different from 2016.
