Ann Hiatt, who was in Bezos' crosshairs at the turn of the millennium, shared the mogul's strategy during a job interview. Speaking on the TV show, Hiatt said that to help choose the right team around him, Bezos has two unique questions to ask.

Speaking on CNBC's Make It programme, Ms Hiatt spoke candidly about the Amazon founder's approach to finding the right person for the job.

His quick encounter with the big boss came in 2002 after a series of short interviews for a rookie assistant position.

She said that he began to answer his questions with some confusion, and asked her to “estimate the number of glass panels in the city of Seattle.”
