A new collaborative space by Arraigo and Tomillo Tiétar

«A space designed for the development of European projects to improve genes, optimization of resources, technology and circular economy». With these words, the promoters define the Vera-Campo Arañuelo Rural Innovation Center, which opened on Thursday.

This is an initiative promoted by the Arraigo Foundation and Tomillo Tiétar, owner of the farm in which the Hub is located (in the municipality of Villanueva de la Vera) as well as the companies and founding partners working in agricultural innovation.

The areas of work of the axis are: Agriculture, specializing in the cultivation of aromatic and medicinal plants. Networking and planning fortnightly research sessions, business meetings, European fundraisers, information and experimentation; And the social impact, training a qualified workforce, developing permanent job opportunities, and advancing the agricultural sector in a way that contributes to providing solutions to the problems of demographic and social integration.
