So far they have stored it in the Town Hall Warehouse, but the current government is forcing them to remove it at the end of this month.

Castellers de Altafulla and Grup de Diables de Altafulla are urgently looking for a space where they can store carnival floats. They announced this through a statement they posted on their networks. They point out, “If someone has a ship or land where they can store it, send us a private message.”

Until now, the two entities have kept the floats in the warehouse of the City Hall, located in Torredembarra, thanks to an agreement with the previous government, in exchange for participating in the Three Kings Parade. Now, however, they can no longer use that place: “The present government is making us remove them at the end of this month, contrary to the previous agreement, and therefore, we urgently need to find a space to remove them.”

After the meeting held to find a solution, we also found ourselves without a place to make floats for the carnival. For a few years, it has been very difficult to find spaces to be able to detail them, ”they acknowledged in their statement. The groups expressed concern about this situation, which “threatens the participation of the floats in the Tivola 2023 carnival.”
