Returning to daily life after the holidays can be painful if not handled properly. One of the most expensive things is getting back to work with his schedules and commitments. Psychologist Azucena García Portillo presented several keys yesterday at the Asturian Press Club in LA NUEVA ESPAÑA so that this comeback is a “soft landing” and fun. One tip is to leave space in your daily routine to do nothing, or alternatively, set aside a little time to meditate.

“We live in a society that prioritizes multitasking, where it seems like we always have to do something; stopping from time to time is very convenient; to learn something, the brain needs a rest,” said spokeswoman who was introduced to Rosa de Arquer who is also a psychologist, As well as Azucena García Portillo, the Hope Phone collaborators, who yesterday started their annual outreach activities at the club.

“Going back to a routine is the thing that costs us the most, but having really consistent habits and schedules is one of the most beneficial for the mind and body,” said García Portillo. He also advised to fight resolutely against this laziness that seemed to invade everything in the early days. He stressed that “it is necessary to finish the tasks that have been started and start with those that require more attention.”

The psychologist said, “Perfectionism is another problem; if we strive for excellence, we will always be surrounded by anxiety and stress.” In addition, he noted the importance of following healthy eating habits on set schedules. For this he added regularity to sleep. He warned that “the regularity of sleep is more important than the number of hours of sleep.”
