How can you participate in the journey into space?
Anyone who currently owns a Land Roar can register online by providing their vehicle’s VIN and a few other details., which counts as a single entry. Applying for a new Land Rover will earn you 50 tickets, while buying or renting a car will give you 100 tickets. Anyone who participates also gets credit for referring people to giveaways, and there is no limit to the number of entries you can get.
Land Rover and its partnership with Virgin Galactic
This isn’t the first time Land Rover has partnered with Richard Branson’s space tourism company. Range Rover sport utility vehicles were used to tow the company’s space planes at various events and presentations, and in 2019 a special edition of the Range Rover astronaut. This model could only be purchased by those who signed up to be astronauts with Virgin, and it came with unique design cues. Since the Astronaut Edition was based on the old Range Rover, it wouldn’t be surprising if Land Rover released a new version based on the fifth generation Range Rover revealed last year.
What is the space grand prize?
The grand prize is A single seat on a Virgin Galactic spaceflight costing around $450,000. Virgin Galactic’s first flight to carry actual passengers into space happened last summer, with Branson on board, and the company hopes to have 1,000 people on the list by the end of this year. The entire experience takes about 90 minutes, with the ship reaching the edge of space and providing a few minutes of weightlessnessTickets are currently open to the general public.
When will the winner be announced?
Additional prizes for the raffle include driving programs at Land Rover Experience Centers, branded merchandise and other items not yet announced. Registration will close on June 20 and The winner will be announced on August 15th.
