Ford Puerto Rico has introduced the new Bronco, the flagship of its redesigned off-road family of SUVs, which also includes the Bronco Sport model.

“The Bronco is the iconic model in Ford’s product line that has resurrected.” Robert Esparolini, Ford product manager in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, said: “It does not have a specific audience, although if it is for people who like adventure, they want to feel safe while driving and want Get the latest technology.

Like the first generation Bronco — nicknamed GOAT (go over any type of terrain) — the mission of the new Bronco is to deliver confidence and make it happen, Esparolini explained, incorporating off-road driving technologies to give rookie adventurers plenty of fun. As with the experts, while Built Wild Resilience delivers long-lasting performance in the harshest conditions.

Advanced four-wheel traction technology and a chassis structure are at the heart of its off-road prowess. It offers up to seven modes designed to help drivers better handle any type of terrain: Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, and Sand, with Low, “Mud/Crack” and “Rock Crawl” for off-road driving.

“There are three models to choose from and we expect a very good reception in sales. For the future of electric vehicles, electric is here to stay and we know that. These units are traditionally powered, but the outlook for other Ford products is electric. They will soon see new electric products like the Scape Hibryd,” the executive clarified about the variety of models they plan to increase sales with, although he did not provide numbers.

Specifications

Four-door Bronco models—starting at $69,995—feature four removable roof sections: the left and right front panels, a full-width center panel, and a rear section.

Each Bronco comes with class-exclusive frameless doors that are easy to remove. All four doors can be stowed on board with protective bags. Hood-mounted mirrors maintain side view when the doors are removed. The front mudguards feature antique sights to enhance visibility, which also act as fasteners. It is said to be reminiscent of the first generation Bronco and has a capacity of 150 pounds to secure tall objects such as a canoe.

the interior

The instrument panel is inspired by the first generation model, with visual and intuitive gauges and controls. Colors and materials are inspired by landscape paintings and outdoor gear. With a primary focus on off-road functionality, the materials were ensured to be strong and durable.

A multifunctional color LCD instrument panel is located in the center next to the gearshift lever and the GOAT drive mode control. Cameras, navigation units, phones or other devices.

It also has a 12-inch LCD monitor linked to SYNC 4 with wireless updates and built into the FordPass Performance app. SYNC displays the available 360-degree camera system with off-road monitoring views.

Some Bronco versions feature washable rubber floors with built-in drains and mold-resistant marine vinyl seating surfaces. The dashboard surfaces are washable, with seamless silicone rubber around the dashboard switches, while the rubber contact points protect against dirt and water.

It features high-strength steel sport bars with airbags integrated into the upper frame and in the seats to protect occupants from side impacts and complement driver and front passenger airbags.
