Rio Grande – with messages that they asserted as the New Progressive Party (pnp) is the only community that supports and promotes the state of the island and in the importance of voting in favor of La Palma in 2024, thousands of new progressives celebrated their state meeting this Sunday to conclude their annual convention.

The PNP chief and the governor seized the moment. Peter Pierluzzi, to reiterate that he will seek a second term. Immediately, he expressed confidence that he would win the next election and give a “peal” to the People’s Democratic Party (PPD).

“I do what I say. So, I am confident that we will retain the governorship. We’re going to retain the police station (Washington resident). We are going to achieve a majority of mayoralties. We are going to take over the assembly again, we are going to contest the Popular Party, who devote themselves to criticizing and doing nothing.”, Pierluzzi said in his message to Benibes after the closing of the state board held at the hotel. Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve, On the Rio Grande.

Without naming names, Pierluzzi criticized “those who, through sheer politics, have deprived the people of trained secretaries, competent judges, and good lawyers.” “What they’re looking for is to destabilize Puerto Rico” with these actions, he said.

“I say to all of them, I will not be afraid, I will not be distracted. I am focused on giving Puerto Rico a government”said the president of La Palma.

Before reaching the microphone, the moment was given to present a video in which all the former presidents of La Palma appeared, including Riccardo Rossello, who attended the event.

“There is no one to stop us” was repeated regularly by Pierluzzi, who reiterated that he would “work” for the country for the remainder of his four-year term and beyond.

Prior to his message, he was preceded by the vice chiefs of the PNP, Carlos “Johnny” Mendez Y Thomas Rivera shots, The latter was much appreciated by patrons.

“I’m proud to be a pen!” Mendes exclaimed, drawing applause from the audience.

He mentioned the figures of Louis A. Ferre, Jose Celso Barbosa, Pierluzzi and the Resident Commissioner in Washington. Jennifer Gonzalez.

“This game is back to what it should be. Our flag is the ideal of statehood, and we want to promote the ideal of statehood, and we have a solid governor with a solid citizenship commissioner. Barbosa’s dream with a compromised Penené Chamber, a compromised Penené Senate. to achieve, but for that we must continue to replicate, talk about what a good government is in the hands of the PNP,” said the former chamber president.

Meanwhile, Rivera Schatz highlighted that the PNP was undergoing a complete overhaul and attacked the PPD for the bankruptcy of the Puerto Rican government.

“La Palma have to repeat the present and beat them in 2024,” Rivera Schatz said.

He noted the emerging alliances between various parties, the recent marches against Pierluzzi’s public policies, and the public demonstrations against him at mass events.

“We heads of state march and dance in concerts, but we vote and win palm and statehood in 2020. So let the parade come, let the concert come, let the vote for La Palma come again in 2024.under control.

Rivera Schatz spoke about the gap between voters who vote for statehood and those who support the PNP in elections.

“State status is good to get more votes. But I want to say to every good politician and every good Puerto Rican who truly believes in statehood and defends it by voting, we can only advance it with a government and a party that believes in statehood. You must vote for La Palma to ensure statehood. “The Popular Party or any other party government is not going to protect statehood,” he said.

In his message, Rivera Schatz did not forget to mention the PNP mayors wearing bright orange shirts.

On the other hand, the governor pointed out the work done by the central government during his administration. Unemployment, increase in salaries of government employees, increase in revenue and economic development are the reasons. He mentioned the Vieques Hospital, the construction of which has not yet begun, which caused the municipal administrator of the island municipality, Juan “Junito” CorsinoHe stood up to clap his hands.

“When the PNP governs, Puerto Rico moves forward. This is the fourth year of work. You see it already. Everyone on our island sees it. Over $1 billion in CDBG-DR funds have been disbursed,” he said.

Ahead of the PNP leaders’ messages, the hosts unanimously approved three resolutions presented to promote the health and conditions of health professionals and naming the Institute of Public Policy and Statistics. Juan R. Melisio.

The state board had 93% of its membership, which exceeded 680. This board consists of the top leadership of the PNP at the municipal and state levels.
