Alexis Gustavo Lazo Flores, from El Progreso, Yoro, went out to buy clothes a week before Christmas but never returned to his apartment.

Alexys Gustavo Lazo Flores is a Honduran national who has been missing since mid-December in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Alexis' family in Honduras is desperate because a friend with whom she shares an apartment, a few days before Christmas, the Honduran went out to look for her new releases, but never returned.

No one knows which store he went to, but the truth is that he never returned to his home, which he shared with his friend.

Their family's helplessness is compounded by the fact that their parents and siblings live in Honduras, and there is no one to help them find their whereabouts, which is why people have turned to social networks to help them.

Alexis was originally from Aguablanca Sur, a village in El Progreso near Santa Rita Yorro.

Alexey's family told the Mundono portal that they fear something bad has happened to him.

They tried to contact local jails and hospitals on phone, but their efforts failed, the portal said.

“Alexis was a hard-working boy,” said Carla Flores, Alexis' cousin.

Alexis' family has created a profile on Facebook for people who can give him some tips.
