NEW YORK — WatchTime New York, one of North America’s premier luxury watch collector events, is set to return to Gotham Hall from October 16–18, 2026, bringing together leading watch brands, independent watchmakers, collectors, and industry enthusiasts for its eleventh edition.
Organizers said the event will feature more than 40 exhibiting watch brands, including several first-time participants, reinforcing its position as a major gathering point for the global watch community. Over the past decade, the event has evolved into a cornerstone of New York City’s unofficial watch week, attracting collectors and industry professionals from across the United States and abroad.
The 2026 edition comes as consumer interest in luxury mechanical watches and independent watchmaking continues to expand. WatchTime New York has built its reputation on creating direct connections between collectors and the people behind the products, including executives, designers, and watchmakers responsible for shaping the industry.
Since its launch 11 years ago, the event has distinguished itself by embracing a direct-to-consumer approach at a time when many watch exhibitions remained closed to the general public. Organizers recognized an emerging shift in the market, with collectors seeking greater access to brands and a more immersive experience than traditional trade-focused events could provide.
That strategy helped establish a new format for luxury watch exhibitions, one that has since gained broad acceptance across the industry. By encouraging face-to-face interaction, product discovery, and educational experiences, WatchTime New York helped redefine how brands engage with enthusiasts and prospective customers.
The annual event has also become an important platform for independent watchmaking, providing exposure for smaller and emerging brands that may not have the global recognition of larger luxury manufacturers. Industry observers note that interest in independent watchmakers has grown significantly in recent years as collectors increasingly seek distinctive craftsmanship, limited production runs, and unique design philosophies.
Independent Watchmakers and Established Brands Share the Spotlight
The 2026 event will continue that tradition by showcasing both established luxury maisons and a new generation of independent watchmakers. Among the first-time and featured participants are Gérald Genta, Ferdinand Berthoud, Schwarz Etienne, Kollokium, Artime, and Kudoke.
In addition to these names, confirmed exhibitors include a broad range of internationally recognized watch brands such as Armin Strom, Arnold & Son, Bell & Ross, Blancpain, Citizen, Chronoswiss, Frederique Constant, G-Shock, Glashütte Original, H. Moser & Cie., Laurent Ferrier, MB&F, Oris, Parmigiani Fleurier, Piaget, Ulysse Nardin, Zenith, and many others.
Organizers said additional exhibitors will be announced as the event approaches.
The exhibition floor is expected to offer attendees opportunities to explore new watch releases, experience hands-on product demonstrations, and interact directly with brand representatives and master watchmakers. Such access has become one of the event’s defining characteristics and a major draw for attendees.
“WatchTime New York was founded on the idea that U.S. collectors wanted more than a showcase; they wanted access to the people behind the watches,” said Sara Orlando, Publisher of WatchTime. “Eleven editions later, that groundbreaking approach continues to define the event. Our focus on introducing emerging independents and creating meaningful connections between brands and collectors reinforces WatchTime New York’s role as a leader in the international watch conversation while helping cultivate the next generation of collectors.”
The event’s continued emphasis on relationship-building reflects broader trends within the luxury sector, where brands increasingly seek direct engagement with consumers. Industry analysts have pointed to experiential events as a growing component of luxury marketing strategies, particularly among watchmakers looking to deepen connections with dedicated collectors.
Expanded Experiences for Attendees
Beyond the exhibition floor, WatchTime New York 2026 will offer a range of collector-focused programming, activations, and networking opportunities. Attendees will be able to participate in presentations, tastings, and interactive experiences designed to enhance engagement with participating brands.
One of the event’s premium offerings will be the return of the after-hours VIP dinner, which debuted previously and is returning for a second year. Guests who purchase the Friday Night VIP package with dinner will attend an opening-night cocktail reception before joining a limited-capacity three-course dinner on Gotham Hall’s mezzanine.
Organizers said the Friday Night VIP plus Dinner package has already sold out, highlighting strong demand for exclusive experiences tied to the event.
The standard Friday Night VIP ticket package will provide early access to participating brands during the opening-night reception and includes full-weekend admission with reentry privileges on Saturday and Sunday.
Single-day admission tickets will also be available, allowing visitors to access brand presentations, product showcases, tastings, activations, and opportunities to meet executives, watchmakers, and fellow collectors.
Saturday general admission hours are scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., while Sunday admission will run from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
As luxury watch collecting continues to attract a growing audience, WatchTime New York’s eleventh edition is expected to serve as a major platform for product launches, industry networking, and collector engagement. By combining established brands, emerging independent watchmakers, and immersive consumer experiences, the event aims to maintain its role as one of the most influential gatherings in the North American watch industry.
With more than 40 exhibitors already confirmed and additional brands expected to join the lineup, organizers anticipate another strong turnout when collectors and industry leaders gather at Gotham Hall this October.
