Vox asks the City Council to enable a provisional space to house the GREM dogs – Burgos News | – Burgos Digital Newspaper

The councilor of this formation, Angel Martin He recalled that the Burgos City Council is going to invest 800,000 euros in remodeling these facilities, but while the works last it is necessary that the dogs that are trained by the GREM volunteers can continue to carry out their daily training activities as they have done so far.

In this sense, he has asked the Government Team not to create a problem where there is none and look for another alternative place for these animals, while criticizing the City Council suggesting that the GREM dogs may be housed in another pavilion Logistics and Offices of this Association when you are not prepared for it.

In this sense, Vox also asks the City Council that once the remodeling works of this pavilion are completed, the facilities can continue to be shared by the GREM dogs and by those of the municipal kennel.

Also, the councilor Fernando Martínez-Acitores has valued the great work carried out by this Rescue Group, made up entirely of volunteers, while pointing out that its members do not understand why they are treated like this from the City Council.

The Speleological and Mountain Rescue group currently has 16 dogs trained to intervene in situations of risk and humanitarian catastrophes.
