Torremolinos Main Post Office is opened as a space to hold cultural events

Correos' head office in Torremolinos, located in Avda, Palma de Mallorca, 25 years old, was launched as a cultural space with the aim of offering a variety of events to the local community.

As a way to enrich its customers' experience and provide added value to the environment, this office began the activity of giving away its space for cultural events. This initiative reflects Correos' commitment to promoting art and culture, complemented by a wide range of services.

The beginning of this activity is marked by the presentation of two literary works by the writer Roberto Aguiarre, on the afternoon of April 5.

The author of Galician-Austrian origin, who is also an agent of the office, grew up in Turin (Italy), where he took his first steps in literature. His work The Detective was a finalist for the Baldini & Castoldi Literary Prize and The Mist of an Enchanted Night is his official introduction to the world of literature. In addition, he has written mini-theatre scripts, which will soon be performed, and short stories, which have been selected for several anthologies and won prizes in literary competitions. Aguiari also participates as a judge in competitions and is active in associations such as the Malagueño Writers Group.

This cultural initiative, implemented at the head office in Torremolinos, complements the wide variety of products and services, covering operations such as selling packaging and stamps, shipping parcels, collecting receipts and sending money. In addition, it offers digital services such as sending documents to public registries through ORVE, as well as paying taxes through the Correos Pay service, procedures with the DGT and the sale of the Red Cross and ONCE lotteries.

Business hours are open to the public from Monday to Friday and extend without interruption from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Correos therefore also provides citizens with access to certain operations such as withdrawing or depositing cash, exchanging and sending foreign currencies. Funds during long hours, and the ability to carry out these operations when bank branches are closed.

From now on, residents and visitors of Torremolinos will also be able to enjoy a series of cultural events in a unique and accessible environment.
