(CNN Spanish) — Narciso Mukutui, a grandfather of four found in the Guerrier forest in Colombia, described how his eldest granddaughter Leslie kept the youngest girl, Christine, alive after a plane crash a month ago. Neriman

Leslie Mukutty told her grandfather that they spent four days around the wreckage of the crashed plane, but when no one came to rescue them, they decided to go into the forest.

The grandfather said that the children were scared when they heard the sound like helicopters and that’s why they were quiet. “When the helicopter sounded, they were afraid, under the great pillars, under a palace. And the army passed by while the people were looking for her. She said that ten meters had passed and they were staying. Still she covered the boy’s mouth, so that he would not cry, so that he would not make a sound.
