Until February 4 Registration is open to apply for outstanding scientists, academics and researchers for the 2022 edition of the “Women in Science Recognition”, granted by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Government of the Province.

It was reported that “members of universities, institutions and research centers, both public and private, located in the Province of Córdoba may be nominated”.

The Distinctions will be delivered within the framework of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, institutionalized on February 11 by the United Nations. The Evaluation Committee is made up of representatives of various government, academic, scientific and business institutions.

“The goal of this initiative is make visible and highlight women researchers for their careers and their contributions in various scientific, technological, and innovation fields and in the constant promotion of knowledge transfer“, they officially stated.

And they added: “It also seeks to awaken scientific vocations in future generations and promote the empowerment and participation in positions and decision-making roles of more women in science.“.
