Garrett Hampson to the Kansas City Royals

The Kansas City Royals posted on their Twitter account on November 29: We have signed Garrett Hampson to a one-year contract. Welcome to Kansas City, Garrett!. The utility man may be having the best season of his life MLB. His excellent performance helped him get this contract for two million dollars.

It should be noted that Garrett Hampson has done it all on defense. Given that he covers six positions – CF, LF, RF, SS, 3B and 2B – he can easily be classified as a true all-rounder. Due to the above reasons, it is impossible to make him permanent in the coming season. After signing with the Kansas City Royals, this team becomes his third home in the MLB. First he would do it with the Colorado Rockies and then last season with the Miami Marlins. It’s true that at 29, a Major League player can already be considered a veteran. It remains to be seen how much Hampson will contribute to his new team.
