Steps to follow to gain space on WhatsApp
To obtain free up space of our mobile we will have to go to the settings of the messaging application. Once we are there, click on Storage and data, selecting the option Manage storage. Here we will be able to observe the amount occupied by all the files that we have received over time in WhatsApp.
Once we have seen all of them, we can select which files we want to definitively undo and see which ones are the heaviest. The new update of the application also allows us to know the weight of all our conversations and, if we wish, eliminate them.
Conversations often accumulate unnecessary files
Each time we access one of the conversations, we will observe all the records that have been passed and the weight of each of them, so we can decide whether erase them or not. So this new feature is more than useful for removing unnecessary files and freeing up space.
If we want to be farsighted and prevent everything that is sent to us by WhatsApp from eating part of our memory, we can solve it by going to the phone settings. If we deactivate the visibility option of multimedia files, the content will not be downloaded unless we click on it.
