SEPH promotes science in special education children – Local News, Police, about Mexico and the World |  The Sun of Hidalgo

To disseminate science in an entertaining way in order to awaken interest in students of the Regular Education Support Units (USAER) of the Secretary of Public Education of Hidalgo (SEPH), the virtual conference “Stranding: Signs of a sick sea ”.

The head of the SEPH, Atilano Rodríguez Pérez, reported that through the Directorate of Special Education, the SEPH promotes various actions to bring girls and boys closer to science and technology in a fun and playful way, so each month These types of conferences are organized, which during this health contingency have been virtually, with the[1]purpose of preserving their health and that of their families.

Thus, to offer quality education, with equity and inclusion, in the current 2020-2021 school year, through the level of Special Education, in Hidalgo, attention is provided to 6,450 students in this service, of which 3,300 are male and female students with disabilities and disorders of some kind; 865 with outstanding abilities and 2,285 with severe learning, communication and behavior difficulties.

This attention is provided to the 29 Multiple Attention Centers (CAM) or the 57 (USAER) existing in the state territory, which work in coordination with the teachers of regular schools.
