Thousands of Internet users reported a global decline in Microsoft services this afternoon.

Includes teams site used for virtual classes and business meetings, Office 365, Outlook, Exchange and more.

According to the “Downtector” page, more than 28,000 users in the last thousand years reported not being able to access the services.

For its part, the Microsoft 365 page promised that they would work on accessibility issues for multiple sites, and that they hope all users would be able to regain access within an hour after the problem was detected.

We have identified the root cause of the problem and are taking steps to reduce the impact. We will issue an updated ETA on resolution upon receipt of one. More information can be found here https://t.co/AEUj8uAGXl Or under MO244568 if available.
